Successful first speaker series

Our first speaker series of 2017 (Dance Therapy with Syrian Refugees) presented by the Association of Traumatic Stress Studies was a great success.

Dr. Ilene Serlin is a clinical psychologist and registered dance/movement therapist. She is the founder and Director of Union Street Health Associates and the Arts Medicine Program at California Pacific Medical Center. She recently came to Palo Alto University and shared her experiences using dance/movement therapy with various communities in the United States and within the international community that have been affected by trauma.
